CRACKS I 2020
The video CRACKS consists of close-ups of an installation work. Shreds of paper, colored deep black, torn into filigree strips, are changing their formation due to a draft. The working process foscsued on the act of tearing. A destruction that had to be carried out with great care in order to grant a last bit of cohesion. Reduced to the mediums of form, texture, focus and rhythm, CRACKS illuminates the field of tension between dissolution and cautiousness.
